Grade: On-track hike. Some creek crossings, some steep sections. Approx. 4 - 5 hours. Moderate level of fitness required.

Due to the closure of Mount Spec Road, access to Paluma Dam will be via Harvey Range Road, approximately a 3-hour drive from Townsville. Please allow ample travel time.

🥾𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐤 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲 (𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲)
Start Point: Paluma Dam (Riflebird Gully meeting point)
Track: Wilfred’s Lookout → Torsten’s Garden → Crystal Creek Falls
Highlights: Scenic rainforest trails, rock formations, and a swimming spot at the falls
Estimated Duration: 4+ hours

We begin the walk at 9:00 a.m. sharp on Sunday from Paluma Dam.

If you're camping, arrive Saturday afternoon and enjoy a relaxed evening at the dam.
camping permits required. Please pick a camping spot at Riflebird gully

✔ Planning to arrive early Sunday morning for the walk. If you are not there before 9 am at Riflebird gully, Paluma Dam we will start walking (as there is no mobile signal to check in)
