Walk Description:
Killymoon Creek, in the dry season, is a fantastic spot for rock-hopping enthusiasts. This walk start on a fire trail on private property with a few good hills to get everyone warmed up. The creek bed starts as a series of small rocky gullies which soon open up into a spectacular gorge.
We will have lunch at the swimming hole, where the polar bears amongst us can have a dip before lunch. This will be our turn around point and we will descend back down the creek from here.
This adventure will see us tackling numerous kinds of climbing. You will need to have a suitable level of fitness and coordination.
How long:
Full day walk. Estimate back at the car park around 4 pm.
What to bring:
Advised equipment: Water (at least 4L as we cannot guarantee suitable water from the creek), Lunch (Snacks and electrolytes), Basic first aid, suitable sun safe clothing, sun screen, Mozzie spray and suitable shoes.
