About this event
Our plan is to walk out to Cape Cleveland (groups departing both Friday 2/8 and Saturday 3/8) for the weekend, returning Sunday 4/8.
The beauty of this walk is that we can access part of the route through AIMS (no access to the general public) and carry only our day packs. Enroute we'll have great views over the Cape, Townsville and Maggie Is. If we're lucky we may even spot a whale!
The walk will be partly on rough bush track and offtrack with terrain that is often hilly and rocky with long grass.
Participants are required to provide all their equipment though and be self sufficient. Camping gear and food will be transported to the Cape by boat (see below for cost).
