Rated: Medium. Consider the distance involved in your decision making. The pace will be moderate and steady, so we can cover the distance within the designated time-frame and enjoy our stops at the various points of interest.
Description:
Beginning at the Paluma Dam campground, we’ll head north along the dam wall to Crystal Ck Falls. After a break at Gold Ck Falls, we head to Johnstone's clearing and into Dolby Creek. We traverse the creek [in the creek] and come back out on track along the dam road.
What to expect:
-Creek crossings and rock hopping
- In creek walking for a short while.
-The terrain is undulating with some steep sections
Duration: 7+ hours including stops & breaks

What to bring:
-Water: 3-4 litres recommended. Sterilisation tablets if you plan to refill your water supply from creeks
-Shoes appropriate for walking on rocky, uneven surfaces. Acceptance that you will be walking in wet shoes as we will be crossing some creeks.
-Dry clothes and maybe thongs for after the walk
-Trail snacks, morning tea and lunch
-First-aid kit and snake bite bandage
