Leader: Cherry
Description :
Beginning at the ferry terminal in Nelly Bay, we’ll make our way over the ridge to Arcadia. We'll check out Endeavour Falls, a seasonal waterfall that will be flowing nicely following recent rainfall. We'll check out Sphinx lookout and then we’ll go down to Geoffrey Bay make our way back
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Easy to moderate grade hike between Nelly and Arcadia. it depends on how much uphill's you are used to and the heat
Approximate distance/duration: 10kms, 4 hours.
While the weather is currently predicted to cloudy with a bit of rain - not much compared to last week, come prepared for either a hot walk or a wet one.
There are exposed sections, so expect it to be hot.
The pace will be moderate and continuous, so we can cover the distance within the designated time-frame and enjoy our stops at the points of interest along the way.
I think we might end up back at Nelly by about 10-11 am for a bit at SOS
