Who is leading - Cherry Judge

This coming Sunday, 1 February, we’re heading out to Insulator Creek at Bambaroo.

Meeting time: 6:30 am [location will be emailed by Saturday]

When will we return - we will aim to return by 3 pm

About

Rated – Medium Hard.Terrain – Bush tracks, uneven footings (tree roots, rocks), steep climb (all climbing on the track for 3-4 hours on way up), with some off-track creek walking around midday (steep track descent/ascent, bushbashing, exposed ledges, rockhopping, slippery rocks, wet shoes likely).

We don’t often get to do this walk in conditions like this, but after the recent rains it’s going to be beautiful. Fig Tree Falls should be flowing well, and Insulator Creek Falls will be full too, which makes this a pretty special time to be out there.

The big attraction for me though are the giant fig trees. They are a sight to behold!

Definitely one of those walks that really comes into its own after rain.

If you’re keen for a stunning post-rain walk and a good day out with the club, hope you can join us.
