C = Modifier: Climb - significant elevation gain or steep sustained ascent/descent
Best estimate only until the final route is known. Hard multi-day car-camp trip with full-day gorge exploration, steep climbs, rugged creek terrain, remoteness, and likely route-finding.

Members have priority, but numbers are limited to 12 participants only (also subject to suitable vehicles and car sharing availability).
Registered participants are requested to attend the club AGM on 29th June for final briefing and arrangements. It is important to have participants at the meeting so that we can finalise plan for timings, cars, re-brief requirements and check understanding of what is involved, and property owner access requirements.
We have permission from the private property owner.
Who is this suitable for ? Suitable for experienced, well equipped, remote and rough terrain capable bushwalkers. Must be self-sufficient for three days remote bush camping– no support available. No facilities or infrastructure (water is available from natural creek sources).
What’s the Plan? A three day adventure. Drive in Saturday morning, walk to camp site, set-up camp. Camp site is in the creek bed (sandy) approx 500 metres walk-in from car park.
Camping Saturday and Sunday night in the creek. Day walks on Saturday, Sunday and Monday from base camp site in the gorge system (bushwalking with day packs only). Drive out Monday at time TBC.
What do we see ? A spectacular gorge system.

Access is subject to terms and conditions of the property owner. Full details of these will be provided to registered participants. Some key points are included at bottom of this notice.
What do we need ? 4WD high clearance vehicles with recovery points. Car share is encouraged and required to fit 12 people.
Costs
Non-member club fee $5 (pay to Keith)
Car sharing costs – arrangement between the driver and passenger(s). Suggest car share costs and conditions are known to your passenger(s) before the trip start so no surprises at end of journey.
Property Access Conditions (to be re-confirmed)
Final approval is subject to risk assessment process of the club activity by the property manager.
Visiting the property is subject to terms and conditions of the property owner. Full copy of conditions will be provided to participants.
Of particular note:
All vehicles entering the property must be washed down to remove weed seed before traveling around the sanctuary.
Only high clearance 4WD vehicles fitted with recovery points are allowed beyond the homestead
All visitors must undergo a site induction and sign the Visitor Log (form C) upon arrival.
You are the person primarily responsible for your own safety.
Photography and filming
• You may take photos or film for private or personal use only.
• Drones are prohibited.
• Copies of photos or film taken may be requested, and you must consent to publication if requested.
• If you would like to make photos or footage that you take publicly available, provide them to a third party to publish, or use them for commercial purposes, you must obtain written consent prior to your visit. This includes Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, X, Flickr, personal websites, etc.

Visitors: $5 per walk
