Have you heard of the Ladies' Route? According to rumour, it's aptly named The Ladies' Route by one of our club members because it was the track that 'female friends' took to visit the soldiers manning the Pillar Boxes on the top of Castle Hill during WWII.

This un-signposted trail is now overgrown, especially in the wet season, however the footpad can be made out in places as it was well-formed with stone stairs and retaining walls.

Returning back to the trail head before lunch.

What to bring:
half day pack, food/snacks, water 2 to 3 lt, sun protective clothing and good appropriate footwear, hat, sunscreen, personal first aid kit (basic), and sunglasses.

Fees: non-members $5

Must be over 18yrs to participate.
