This is a very hard, full-day, cross-country, creek-based bushwalk with no tracks in the lower section of Big Cyrstal Creek. Cyrstal Creek is home to giant granite boulders, waterfalls, and other rugged landscapes.
The terrain includes uneven footings, rock hopping, scrambling, bush bashing, steep climbs, and exposed ledges. The vegetation is a mix of woodland and rainforest.
For fit experienced bushwalkers who can maintain a good pace over the full day.
It is difficult to exit from this walk if you have difficulty or are slow. This is a remote area with no convenient means to exit the walk after the start. Once we start, you will be moving at a good pace.
