Bluegum Circuit - Paluma [mid-week hike]

Leader: Cherry Judge

Rated: On Track hike. Some creek crossings, Some steep sections. Must be comfortable doing a 4-5+ hr hike . Moderate level fitness required.

This is a midweek hike for those that are keen to join in.
We will walk the Bluegum Circuit in a clockwise direction, starting along the H-Track.
Along the track we will be taking a detour to visit Triple Falls. Then we continue along the track till we come to a lagoon [on Star River] and then continue along to Miner Creek Falls. From here we start our ascent out of the valley back up to Paluma Village.

What to expect:
- Steep and uneven sections with ropes in place to assist in a couple of places
-Rock hopping & Scrambling.

Meeting Point:
6:30 am at Yabulu Service station, 25km north of Townsville, in the dirt carpark.
