Rated: Moderate Fitness. Off track walk.

Terrain: undulating, some creek based walking with loose and slippery rocks, steep sections, unmaintained overgrown track. Some high hills with viewpoints, some creek cascades and the swimming hole at Lizard Gorge.

The pace will be moderate and steady, so we can cover the distance within the designated time-frame and enjoy our stops at the points of interest.

What to expect:
-Many creek crossings and rock hopping in the creek bed
-The track is often not well-defined
-The terrain is undulating with some very steep sections
-Some overgrown sections, some gympie-gympie areas
-Heat, humidity, insects, extreme UV exposure
-Elevation change 180 metres
-Duration: approximately 8-9 hours including stops & breaks

Meeting Point and Time
Meeting at 6:15 am. Need to RSVP and check with Ian. Details will be emailed.

Duration: full day. We will aim to finish by 4-5 pm.
