PADDLE DETAILS
Weβll meet at Loam Island (boat ramp) this Saturday at 0700, put our boats in the water and make our way along the river. Which direction we head will depend on the conditions and where everyone wants to go. Upstream we will reach a rock bar and can't go any further. Downstream we can go towards Vickers Bridge. Either way we get to see the beautiful trees that fringe the river, waterbirds, kites, maybe an eagle. We could even get glimpses of freshwater reptiles. So dust off the cobwebs, put the roof racks back on the car and join me for a fun couple of hours.
