HIDDEN FALLS - SUNDAY 26 July (full day)
REGISTRATION WITH THE WALK LEADER IS ESSENTIAL
RATED: Hard
There is no track and the route is a long rock hop over rocks and boulders (some slippery), followed by a steep climb and a bushbash near the end. Return will be via the same route.
Good stamina and balance for creek rock hopping and boulder scrambling is required.
Numbers have to be restricted due to the small space available at the waterfall.
WHAT TO BRING:
- Water: enough for a full day or refill from the creek. We recommend water is treated before consumption.
- Clothing and gear: full long sleeve clothing is recommended. Many members also wear fingerless gloves.
- Footwear: enclosed footwear
- Hat and sunprotection
- Personal first aid kit including insect repellent, compression bandage and blister kit.
- Swimming gear: there will be opportunity to swim at the lunch pool and on the way home
COST: Non-members $5 walk fee
Must be over 18years to participate
MEET:
7:30am on the Bruce Hwy opposite Alligator Creek Roadhouse
Aim to be back at the cars by 5pm

On some activities, walker numbers may be limited to promote the safety and enjoyment of all, due to location size and ability to socially distance or to reduce our environmental impact at some locations.
COVID-19
Please do not attend if you are unwell, have symptoms or have been ordered to quarantine or isolate. Social distancing and self managed hygiene practices are strongly encouraged, and the club will not be organising car pooling opportunities at present. The club is cognisant of the QORF COVID SAFE PLAN for Outdoor Recreation Providers. On some walks, as noted above, numbers may be limited.
