Rated – Medium Hard. Suitable for rough terrain bushwalkers.
Meet – Time 0730, at Paluma. Meet point will be disseminated to approved registered participants.

Mt Spec Section, Paluma Range National Park - A spectacular rainforest creek full day walk. Hike on rainforest tracks to Dolby Creek, then bushbashing and wading along creek lines. Hike past cascades and secret pools, to a great waterfall and pool (off track) in the Paluma Range National Park. Track route home will be decided on the day.
Terrain - The off-track bushbashing includes slippery rocks, tangled vines and jungle, wait-a while, creek wading, rock hopping, and uneven footings. Some moderate hills are climbed.
Footwear – due to wet conditions and creek wading, shoes that are suitable for getting wet and wading in water is recommended.
Must be over 18 years to participate.
Non-members (Visitor) fee $5.
Drinking Water – bring water for a full day bushwalking. Refill from creeks is readily available, but the club recommends that water resupply from natural sources is suitably treated before consumption.
Anticipate being back in Paluma around 5:30pm.
